Grandpa George Peels Out Of The Squadron

George Anthony was reported missing late Thursday evening after missing a meeting with the Anthony family attorney.

He had sent text messages to family members indicating that he wished to die. He was tracked by cell phone pings to the Hawaiian Inn Motel at 2:30 a.m. He was taken into custody under Florida's Baker Act, which allows someone to be held for up to 72 hours pending a psychiatric evaluation. The police chief personally drove him to Halifax Hospital after persuading him to seek medical help.

Although no drugs or weapons were found in his motel room, other items of an alarming nature were, along with a suicide note indicating that he "wanted to be with Caylee".

Good! Maybe he will be the ONLY Anthony member to pull their head out of their ass and speak the truth!

One can hope. I think that, if they can keep him for a while; long enough to think, he might stand a chance.

Of course, with their lawyer around all the time, that could be difficult. I'm thinking that he might need his own lawyer, instead of sharing one with his wife.

What Ronni said! That is a great comment about him needed his own lawyer. He really does.

He also needs to spend a lot of time away from Cindy and Lee (and Baez, too). Maybe time away and the proper counseling will get him to finally be able to face the truth.

I have always felt bad for George...he seems to go along with what Cindy says and stays kinda quiet. I'm sure if he started talking a lot would come out. Let's hope!
